Hello, my name is Karen and I have worked with State Farm for 16 years, five of those years for Derek. Derek & I are a good fit because we both believe in strong customer relationships. Before State Farm I didn’t know much about insurance, and now I really enjoy explaining what the coverage means and answering questions. I want people to feel comfortable with what they have, or are buying. I have always loved to help people, even in my personal life. It’s been an interesting journey selling car insurance, home insurance, small business insurance, boat insurance, and life insurance. I like them all, but I absolutely love working with home insurance! I come from a family of contractors and handymen, so it’s fun looking at the features of the homes.
On a personal level, I’ve lived in the Bay Area most of my life, with a short stint on the east coast. My son and his family live near, so I get to have fun with my grandchildren. I like hiking, local fairs and farmers markets, and spending time with friends
